How do I pay for my trip with my rewards points?

Here's how to pay for your next trip with rewards points if you have a Platinum, World, World Elite or Platinum Business Mastercard^® credit card:

Option 1: Book your trip with the agency or airline of your choice, using your National Bank travel credit card.

Redeem your points to pay for:

• Airline, train or bus tickets
• Car rentals
• Hotel, lodging or cottage fees booked for vacation purposes 
• Cruises, tours and camping 

The value of your points is as follows:

• 12,000 points = $100 travel discount 
• Redeem 55,000 points or more in the same transaction: 11,000 points = $100 travel discount

 

Option 2: Plan and book your vacation with the À la carte Travel^TM  Agency services:

Every 10,000 points will give you a $100 travel credit.

To redeem your points or make a reservation with the À la carte Travel^TM  online agency:  

From your online bank:

1. Sign in to your online bank.
2. Click Overview, then your credit card.
3. From the Redeem my points tab, click Redeem my points at the bottom of the screen.
4. You will be redirected to the À la carte Rewards page. If prompted, sign in using your National Bank credentials.
5. Select your credit card and follow the instructions.

From your National Bank app: 

1. Sign in to the National Bank app. 
2. Select your credit card, then select the Details tab. 
3. Under the Rewards points section, click Options to redeem my points. 
4. You will be redirected to the À la carte Rewards page. If prompted, sign in using your National Bank credentials. 
5. Select your credit card and follow the instructions. 

You can also call the À la carte Rewards^TM  Centre at 1-800-341-8083, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. (ET) and Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (ET).

 

Important:

• To qualify, you must pay for your travel expenses with your National Bank travel credit card.
• You must redeem your points for a discount no later than 60 days after the date of purchase of the trip.
• The travel discount will be credited directly to your National Bank credit card within 3 business days of your request.
